I am humbled

After being interviewed by our local paper with an amazing front page awareness campaign and beautifully written editorial titled 'Why I'm giving the gift of life' I am humbled by the response from local readers. So many people did not even realise there was the opportunity to donate in this way. The awareness of what I am doing is making this whole experience worthwhile. I am just imagining, that somewhere out there is someone who's life will never be the same as they will now experience the life changing opportunity of having a little one of their very own. Realising that this is really happening

My phone rang 30 minutes ago, it was the lovely lady from Altrui who I have spoken to so many times.
I told her about crying on Saturday.  My little girl had her first dance performance.  I was so proud.  I realised how many women out there never get to hold their little ones or ever get to experience being a mummy and that is why I am doing this.
I will be helping a couple with falling pregnant and my first appointment at Guys in London is on Thursday.  I am excited, yet nervous and thought the way to understand and look back on this journey is by blogging about it so others can learn from my experience and also understand the reasons for wanting to do this.
I am happy today.
